& so it begins !!

Welcome to my blog everyone! I am terrible with introductions and I am not the greatest at talking about myself. But all first encounters are always awko-taco, am I right? Sooo.. let's get on with it shall we! I don't really know how to "blog" per se, but I have always kind of wanted to begin one because it always intrigued me and I enjoy reading other people's posts so I thought why not create my own?! So that's how we got here.

I, knowing zero about this, whipped out my handy dandy laptop and googled "how to write your first blog post" and as I was skimming all the propositions from numerous websites, one common idea was strung throughout. That idea was to share a certain number of facts about yourself, kind of like the lame ice breakers teachers/professors make you do on the first day of class that every student dreads. But don't worry guys this will actually be fun, well at least I hope you think its fun. LOL. So here are 10 fun facts about me!

1. I am currently 22 years old.

2. I currently live with my boyfriend & am working full time in order to save up mula$$ to go back to school.

3. I went to UW-Lacrosse for 2 years before deciding to come home and move in with my parents to try to save money. I moved back in the summer and worked full time for a whole year, saved up a good hunk of cash but instead of it going towards school it had to go to getting my own apartment. My stepfather had gotten a job offer in Northern Wisconsin, so they moved and I moved into my first apartment. (& if you didn't know, which I am sure you guys do, living on your own is NOT cheap) So school got pushed off for another year.

4. I am the oldest of 3 children, so some would say I am bossy. *cough cough* my younger sister LOL

5. I often get asked what ethnicity I am, and let me tell you I have gotten some wild guesses. But as of my knowledge I am German, Austrian, Hungarian, and Irish.

6. From middle school through my two years in college, I had taken 10years of Spanish courses (it is actually my minor) and I for the most part can understand the language but am not the greatest at speaking it.

7.I love traveling even though I don't get many chances to do so, I am grateful for the few places I have gotten to go to. I have a few travel plans this year I am very excited for. (stay tuned)

8. Instagram is my favorite social media platform, because I love photos, photography and all that jazz. Pictures are just so fun and interesting to me.

9. Even though I love fashion, and always try to have the cutest staple wardrobe items, I have a very unhealthy amount of graphic tees. I am a major lover, fan, or psycho (whichever term you decide to classify me as) for Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and many more things. So I tend to constantly purchase graphic tees that display these "nerdy" things I love.

10. I believe in quality over quantity when it comes to my friends. Personally, it doesn't matter how many friends you have if those friends don't all treat you as so.
